I know I'm supposed to do at least 30-45 min of cardio at least 4 days a week, but can I split that up? Like say, can I run on the elliptical for 15 min, take a breather to do some weight training, and then do another 15 min, take a break to do some ab work, and then finish the other 15 min? Or do I HAVE to do it all at once?

you can break it up BUT you will not get all the benefits of the cardio exercise. So, it depends. Is you primary goal cardiac fitness or general aerobic exercise.

Yes! It is actually better that way! Do 15-20 minutes before and the rest after you workout! Wait and see what the difference is! 10 pts for me!

You can break-up your exercise sessions during the day. However for added benefits, 15 minutes of strength training on alternatiting days would be ideal.

I recently read that it's fine to do that but I don't think you'll burn as many calories because you burn more calories when your heart rate is up and also I think it's important to stay on for at least 20 minutes to get the full healthy heart benefits.

Yes, not sure if it is better or if it is quite the same, but it is still good for you!
