Samuel Adams is good even though its not an import but it has the taste of one.

Imports, eh? Well then, where are you writing from? If you are in Canada, then I guess I won't suggest Moosehead since it's readily available. If you like stout, as good as Guiness is, you should try to get your hands on St-Ambroise Stout from Quebec. Beats it hands down!

Guinness is good for you. Or try a US Northwest micro brew like any of the Redhook beers/ales http://www.redhook.com
