Tsingtao is a Chinese beer that is very light and refreshing. It is made with very little hops and rice as an adjunct. It's purpose is to complement the sweet, sour and spicy flavors of Chinese cuisine. Make sure it is served very, very cold. In Boston the best way to order one after last call in china town is to request a pitcher of "cold tea". They will gladly poor you tea pots of cold beer into the wee hours!

I personally loved Asahi dark when I was in Japan because I've never tasted a strong enough dark beer in Asia or at least I'm not aware of it.
When I was in Hong Kong, I loved Blue Girl simply because I got a good kick from it compared to the San Miguel, Carlsberg and others available.
