Summer time and the grilling is fine! Grilling up some brats tonight. Go to your supermarket's fresh meat department. This time of year they have all different kinds. We're throwing some beer brats on the grill tonight and will serve on very fresh brat buns. We have some cut up watermelon and leftover potato salad. Easy breezy summer pleasy!

Leftovers...Barbecued lamb, tzatziki, corn on the cob, green salad, orzo salad with feta,Kalamata olives & toasted pignolis, 3-seed sourdough bread with garlic butter, a glass of good red wine, & Deadly Chocolate Cake for dessert. Cooked and entertained all day yesterday. Today, I want to work in my garden and enjoy living in Eden.

How about some lasagna, with meat sauce. A salad and some breadsticks with garlic butter. For dessert, in keeping with that italian theme, some gelatto.

We are having sliced turkey breast with gravy on top and macaroni and cheese and ice cream for dessert.

Nothing fancy, just something quick. It's too hot to cook in the oven today.

Go to the frozen food sections. There are tons of things in there that are healthy and easy to make! Especially when there is kids or it is too hot to do much cooking.

Good luck! I'm sure you can whip something up that will be delicious!!

I made a great mousse last week - it was lemon and pineapple and delicious!

I mixed a packet of lemon gelatin with boiling pineapple juice instead of water, then added some crushed pineapple to the mix. Let it cool then fold in some cream, then allow to set.

It was light, fluffy and soooo tasty (and very easy to make!)
