Some people can't afford to purchase CD's and really, there's nothing wrong with cassettes. Sure, it takes longer to find a song and it's easier to just hit a button rather than needing to fast-forward and re-wind constantly, but some people don't care.

Not everyone can afford the luxury of CD's or even a CD player, so why take away something that's affordable and people still use simply because it's "behind the times"? If that's the mentality people have, then we might as well take away home phones because, afterall, doesn't "everyone" have a cell phone?

because some people still use them. if you can still listen to them then i guess that they can still sell them. just like some people still listen to records. but i do think that it is a good idea to get rid of them. Cd's and mp3 players are SSSSSSSoooooooooo much better.

i think a lot of company trucks, and tractor trailers, which are on the road a lot, still have cassette players in them.
