I had studied journalism in the United States, and this...I have never seen.

Someone gave me this link to this movie

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7828123714384920696

about the Israel "occupation". In it , it says this,

The Middle East Conflict ( when being reported by US news agancies) gets filtered through these channels.

Owners of US Medai Firms
\ /
Political Elites
\ /
Israeli Government PR Compaigns
\ /
Israeli Watch Dog Groups

First of all, having lived in the US for 8 years or so now, I can tell you that if you had to depend on a "political elite" to proof read, or "ok" a story, it would never get published.

Secondly, the owners of US Media Firms are the public! They are all held on stock. But if they are refering to a CEO or something to that nature, again, nothing would ever get on TV or print.

The movie is a big pro-palastine propoganda machine for the people who love "conspiracy theories".

Ismael, your a complete ignorant person.

The media ( owned by TV stations) are publicly traded in the stock exchange. (Turner, Warner Brothers, etc..) meaning their isnt "one" owner. Whoever owns stock , owns part of that company.

Go to the business section and ask stock questions now..wow...I cant believe I have to give stock lessons now.

I remember watching Headline news one day. They reported that some suicide bomber had killed a bunch of innocents. Following this attack the Isreali government went after the people they believed were responsible. In doing so, they used military and ended up wrecking some Palestinian homes. Next Headline News ( apart of CNN) did personal stories on those Palestinians who lost their homes.
What about those Isrealites who lost their lives?

Much of the media and a few governments in the Middle East do not even believe there ever were Jewish concentration camps. We definitely should watch for bias news and should probably get our news from several sources. But I think that U.S. media has a much better rep when covering world events.

I have not seen the video, cannot watch at work. However, from what you say, it is just an indepentent film. Unless it has CNN or some other respectable news logo on it correctly, don't believe it. It may just be another angry person trying to make people feel the way they do with no evidence.

If you're saying the media represents the public, you're making yourself look like a fool. It is more of manipulating the public. You seem to be Jewish and one of their paid servants/or wanna be servants. Yes it is true, it does get filtered as you never hear of the 'soft' hills which were graves of woman and children Israel create of the Lebanese public.

I'm sure it is probably true. I hear things on national public radio that I never hear in the mainstream US media or evening news until months later like the US soldiers that are suspected of raping and/or killing innocent Iraqi civilians including women and children.
