Anyone can say "I love you" but how do I know if he really means it?

How do you know if someone reallys loves you. Actions speak louder than words and I'd rather be shown than told.

You hit the nail on the head. If he does not show it by his actions, then he obviously doesn't love you. On the other hand, if he always treats you with respect and dignity and puts your needs at least equal with his own, then hang on to that one!

They will show you in every way they can. Just look at the little things they do to try and show you, it says more than you think.
