sometimes when you buy chicken wings or whatever form the grocery store they still have feathers or hairs on them, and i've washed and ran a knife down the sides, and even tried to pluck them out....and sometimes after i've done all that all of the hair still didn't come off. is there anything special i can do to clean the chicken, or some kind of instrument i can buy to help clean it? i want to eat hairless chicken!

Try dipping the chicken in boiling water for 2 or 3 seconds then you can pull them out easier.

When we raised our own chickens for food, first came the plucking of feathers, then the removal of 'innards'. When that was all done, we held the chicken over a fire long enough to singe off the remaining hairs. Works like a dream.
