Sometimes inbreeding causes animals to have extra toes and stuff. Don't worry about it if your cat has extra toes or not. It's not as freaky for cats as if it were a human. Sometimes it just happens too- genes.

They all have 5 toes. The thumb toe is always hard to see it is on the inside of the paws. I know cuz i have 5 cats

Genetic mutation. Usually found in too much inbreeding. I have a snowshoe Siamese kitten with five toes on each front foot and seven toes on each hind foot, her name is Dolly because she's a poly (polydactyl)!!!!

Yes, some of it is due to "inbreeding" but some is due to the breed itself.
Ocelots and Egyptian Maus are born with extra claws so they can escape their predators quicker. They can climb trees faster than a cat with 4 claws. The fifth claw is to give them that extra ability to grab.

IT MUST BE AN EVOLUTION THING...I'VE SEEN A CAT WITH SIX TOES IN EACH PAW ONCE...OR MAYBE THE BREEDS HAVE DIFFERENT CHARACTERISTICS LIKE DIFFERENT AMOUNT OF TOES PERHAPS OR LIKE SOME HAVE MORE FUR THAN OTHERS OR FURRIER TAILS THAN OTHERS OR DIFFERENT SHAPED HEADS ETC...

sometimes when the kittens are small the owner takes the kitten(s) to the vet and get them to cut off the third toes(hook nail) so when they get older and maybe attack they cant get you with that one toes b/c thats the one that hurts the most

It's something caused during breeding it's normal, don't freak out, my friend's cat has extra "thumbs" on each front paw and she trys to carry stuff using them so don't bother about it.

the extra toe is a mutation, some have it some don't.
