My fiance and I are getting married on Halloween of this year. We are having a very private ceremony. Then a big party afterwards. Everyone is freaking out of the mousellem. He really wants this because he is involved in magic and feels more comfortable there. I know he sounds creepy, but I would do anything to make him happy. Let me know what you all think. I about already know.

You know what, I think that's a great idea! I mean, a wedding in a mausoleum on its own is kind of odd. But to have it as part of the whole theme... I think it's great! It's got that cool eccentricity to it.

Only if you have a thing against dead mice...uh, oh, you mean a cemetery! No, many people are married in cemeteries. However, you might tactfully suggest to him that, inasmuch as you will be joining his family, you would prefer to hear the opinion of his parents, first. After all, a wedding ceremony is not (only) an event to celebrate your love for each other, but your love and respect for each others' background.
A nice alternative, if you wish a gothy feel without offending your relatives, is to look around for a college with Gothic architecture, or a romantic-looking Victorian garden for the ceremony. (I assume it will be a civil ceremony.) That will make everyone comfortable.

Have you asked him why? Find out more before you do such a thing. Yes, I know you want to make him happy. But, you do have responsibility towards YOURSELF, too. After you know the consequences and accept them, then, by all means, go ahead.

I think it sounds pretty cool!
people get married anywhere they want to anymore......as for the people who are "freaking out", its YOUR wedding, YOU have it anywhere you want to.

my wedding was in the catacombs in paris. to me, a mouselleum would not be creepy.
