I read in an article yesterday about the figure for that, it's very unclear. Naturally, it's hard to conduct an accurate survey depending on someone's honesty about their sexual preference. The article presented 3%, but it mentioned some surveys showed 1% and others went as high as 10%.
However.. I don't know if these numbers were just for homosexuals, gays and lesbians included, but you seem pretty specific on a figure for "gay guys in the united states".. haha you worded that pretty funny.

There hasnt been anything around to calculate that as of yet, however, there are a lot of 'closet' gay people....
Its getting higher though, as gay pride reaches new heights!
