I would like to know if anyone know what are some good exercises to do at the gym to loss weight. I currently eat right and I walk 30 mins on treadmill I have the incline up and the treadmill says I burn about 300 calories and then I use this weight machine and its about 15 lbs I do 60 of those. Then I do the butt blaster 15 on each leg about 25 lbs then I do thighs the inner 80 and outter 80 (dont know the name of the machine) and then I do 50 crunches the 10 on each side the I go back to the treadmill for 30 minutes. I eat healthy small meals through out the day and I recently bought a sauna suit used it once and I sweat alot when I walk around the track outside I really like using that because I rarely sweat when I'm at the gym. I didnt loss weight yet not even 1 lbs. what am I doing wrong I go to the gym every day. Any suggestions?

Honestly the fact that you do all of that is great but I see nothing about supplements. I am going through the same thing right now and Im 41 and have had 2 boys and in the last two weeks I have lost 10 lbs.... here is my deal.... I take CLA (1000mg) it has tonalin in it which is a great essential acid provider which helps block and burn fat from your diet.... I also take Organic Flax an excellent resource for the same acids that reduce and move fat.....plus I take a good source of vitamins too.... and I drink pure whey protein shakes too (chocolate is the best lol) ....now for my workout..... believe it or not I dont really do that much compared to you but I do resistance pilates , ride a bike, and take a good walk.... I do all this as much as I can and whenever I can.... I dont have a specific schedule but here is something to think about which works for me..... its true that human fat when sitting around on your body actually becomes like that thick white chicken fat that once turns like that becomes so hard to get rid of without lyposuction.....but guess what you can FLATTEN it ..... what reshapes my body is laying on my back and rolling my hips from side to side SLOWLY putting at much pressure on that fatty area around the hips and I mean PRESSURE.... I put as much of my weight on it as I can .... it does after regular repatition flatten that fat out ......little known fact but true .... seems to me your workout is all cardio .... you need to incorporate some slow toning exercises like resistance pilates.... let me know how it works for you.

It is hard to evaluate what is going on without knowing exactly what your "healthy" diet consists of. Even too much healthy food can lead to weight gain. One thing you might want to do is see your doctor and have your hormone levels and thyroid functioning checked out. Both of these can interfer with weight loss. As stated above you may actually be losing fat, but gaining muscle just as fast. Muscle weighs more than fat and can actually make you gain weight in the beginning of your weightloss battle. The good news is that the more muscle you have the more, the more fat you burn. You stated that you rarely ever break a sweat at the gym. Then you probably aren't working hard enough. You should never leave the gym without breaking a good sweat. This is how fat is burned and the body is able to detox itself of toxins through sweating. Even walking should induce sweat if done properly.
For more information I suggest you check out the website Weight loss plans.

I would guess that you are not losing weight because you are eating as many calories as you are burning. When you work out you have a tendency to eat more, because muscle burns more calories than fat. If you want to lose weight, you have to eat fewer calories than you burn. I would suggest that you either limit the amount of time you spend at the gym ie; alternate workouts with cardio, leg work one day - cardio, arm work another day. Or you could just cut back on calories, say skip snack in the afternoon or something small like that. By the way you should know that it isn't the weight you are but how you look in your clothes, and you are getting fit even if it isn't showing on the scale. Have patience.

Check your food intake. The human body can do a surprising amount on a surprisingly tiny amount of food.

With a lot of today's food 300 calories may not be much of a workout. A quick snack on something "healthy" like a granola bar (2 of the little skinny ones in other words) can easily consume 250 calories or so.

It's a pretty simple system - even if we make it hard. Take in less than you burn and the weight will drop.

First of all a "sauna suit" won't help you lose weight It'll help you sweat, which you need to replace by drinking water. Dehydrating yourself is NOT good.

You need to kick up the cardio. Start running a little bit, doing intervals between walking (say 1 min running, 4 minutes walking). Work your way up to 45 minutes of cardio and do this at least 5 times a week.

Make sure the small meals are healthy ones and that you eat at least 3 small meals and 2 snacks per day. Consistency is key. You may not see anything now but you should in a few weeks. I've been there.

keep going. Muscle weighs more than fat so as youi convert it over it may appear that you are not losing weight. Meaure your waist, hips, thighs to see the difference. You may also notice a difference in the way your clothing fits. Keep going though, you're doing good. More power to ya!

It all comes down to the total number of calories in versus total number calories out; just like a banking account.
