That's easy -- change your diet! You don't have to give up everything that you love, but you do need to moderate the "bad for you" stuff like soft drinks, the five deadly "C's" (candy, cookies, cakes, chocolate, chips), and try to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grain breads/cereals/pastas, etc., and lean meats; especially chicken and fish.
Here's a couple of basic rules that will help you drop the pounds:
RULE #1: Eat only when you're hungry (READ: Your stomach must be grumbling -- if it isn't, you're not hungry, and if it is but you have eaten recently, it's digesting your food)
RULE #2: Don't stuff -- try starting out by eating half of what you would normally eat. You may have to eat more often during the day doing it this way, but as long as you're eating in response to your body telling you that you need food, you're cool.
RULE #3: Don't eat anything between meals, and don't drink anything except water or unsweetened coffee/tea between meals. Soft drinks are Public Enemy Number One when it comes to obesity -- you wouldn't believe how many extra worthless calories the average person consumes in a day just from between-meal soft drinks.
Here is a list of foods that will help your weight loss efforts:
1. Nuts, any kind (watch the salt, almonds are best)
2. Beans and legumes
3. Green vegetables (spinach tops the list)
4. Lowfat dairy products
5. Eggs (very high in "good" fat and protein)
6. Lean meats and poultry (fish and turkey are great)
7. Peanut butter (all-natural is best, go for low-sugar)
8. Olive oil (more of that "good" fat)
9. Whole grain breads/cereals/pasta (Barilla Plus is good)
10. Any type of berries (except Crunch Berries)

Eat 3 small meals every day. Have the breakfast early so the methabolism starts working early. Go to sleep early before midnight. A study has shown that people who go to sleep late are more likely to be overwaight. The last meal of the way should not be past 7 PM and should be the smallest meal with no sugars, fat or anything rich on calories...preferibly a fruit shake or similar.
Just remember one thing that is to take your time. You will see results first month but depending how overwaight you are , it can take a year or two till you get slim. I lost 58 lb of waight in the past year but with help of exercise and a balanced died. Good luck!

There are diet pills and shots you can take, but I strongly recommend you don't. Eat healthy, of course. Eat four or five small portions a day, instead of three big meals, because you can digest little stuff and you will ultimately cut out food unintentionally. Make time for exercise ... walking for half an hour a day is better then none. And stretch before you go to bed. Just do stretches, flex up your muscles, and you will feel healthier.

There is no real substitute for regular excercise. I was also in the same situation once. But soon I realized It's just an excuse that I don't have time for excercise while I was attending to numerous important and unimportant things in the course of the day.
Make out a list of things you usually do on a working day and your idle time in between. Now you can easily identify one or two items which are less important/ Replae them with EXCERCISE and plan the time according to your convenience but its always better you follow a regular pattern. This is how I managed to find time to excercise and make it a regular practice.

Sure you'll have time. All the time you won't be spending on eating you can spend on exercise.
There is only one way to lose weight. Burn more calories than you take in and even then you should be taking in around 1200-1500 calories a day.

Lame excuse. You make the time, even if it's 10-15 min. a day. You have that. In addition, the right eating habits help. Portioning is key, not no-carb, no fat, BS. If you excersise and portion your eating, you can within reason eat what you want and lose weight.

I think it is important to keep refueling your body through-out the day with 5-6 small meals. Consisting of all the foods in the pyrmid. Most americans eat to big of portions, it is important that you watch that. Beings you don't have the time to exercise you will want to keep your portions small, and add alot of protein, and stick to all the basic food in the food pyrmid.

Keep a bottle of water with you at all times. This will help you not to feel hungry, and will help you lose weight. Also, eat good, healthy meals (don't starve). In the end, this will increase your metabolism to help you lose weight.

Find yourself a diet that suggests a balanced diet with protein, low glycemic carbohydrates (get a glycemic index), and good fat. It lowers the natural sugar content of the foods you are eating, and natural sugar is what puts the weight on.
