On Bosch style connectors ( retangular 2 wire connector used for injectors etc on many foreign and domestic engines) the connector uses a small "C" shaped "wire" (that clips to the plastic connector )that is constanly missing on cars that we work on. The connector itsself is OK and seems like someone sells just the C shaped wire clip that provides the connector to. I understand I can replace the whole connector but seems foolish for a part that should be available. So far cant find them at any place.

Here are a couple of places to start. First off, if you don't care whether the part's used or not, you can go to any salvage yard and likely find them. If you prefer new, try NAPA or Auto Zone. I know NAPA sells Bosch parts... also, believe it or not, a regular hardware store may have a C-clip like that. I'd take in a sample and see if they can match it up...I've been surprised by some of the odd things they stock. Hopefully this helped a little.

A visit to most salvage yards would easily solve this problem, if you need a new clip try the dealership. This is a common connector so the salvage yard would be my first place to get it, most likely little or no charge for this clip.

try dorman products. they make a lot of odd stuff. try looking in the yellow pages for wholesale parts. people like that have access to thousands of odd things. try the "help" section of the auto parts store. "help" is all kinds of odd products that you normally need but only the dealer has. Get the web address off a help product. they are made by motormite. try the dealer. Dealers lose/use them too. if you still cant find them, contact me. I'll find thae person I used to use in Richmond va to get me odd sstuff
