Avocado Hair Mask
This nutrient rich-recipe gives dry, damaged hair the deep conditioning it craves.

1/2 ripe avocado, mashed
1 teaspoon avocado oil
5 drops rosemary essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, Massage into clean, wet hair, making sure you coat each strand. Cover with a plastic shower cap and relax for 30 minutes. Rinse the mixture out out of your hair with warm water, then shampoo as usual.

Yield: 1 application

Probably not because it would mean an extra trip to the store for avocado and rosemary oil...I do enough running of errands. By the time I got the stuff I needed I'd have lost your recipe.

I have used avocado in my hair before...it works well, but you have to make sure the mixture is washed out WELL, because it will weigh your hair down

I've done something similar to that before - it works great! Some people might freak out about the smell and washing it out of your hair, but it really does work. So does mayonnaise...not as exotic, but similar. If you're having doubts about it, just try it...you have nothing to lose!

i don't think its such a good idea. it can damage your hair. that's what happens to people. It attracts bugs to your hair. You don't want that to happen. You should try a conditioner which will make it soft.
