Bring your English Saddle to her Western Stable or bring a Western saddle to an English Stable...The horses dont care....You can do what you want ...There are no Laws against which saddle you prefer!

Well, that's mostly a personal decision, but where do you want your riding to take you? As in, do you show? AQHA or something? But there's no reason you couldn't ride both if you wanted to at one stable. Anyway, look at your options. In western there's just plain ole trail riding, western pleasure, reining, cattle work, speed events (barrel racing, poles, etc.). English, there's equitation, hunt seat, dressage, jumping, and of course, just everyday riding. So look at what you want out of riding, and make your decision from there.

When I was younger (here in Nebraska) the "English" riding people were the spoiled snobby rich kids...The "western" riders were the fun easygoing ones that like to just ride and had fun and wasnt about being perfectly dressed and the horse shining like a diamond just to go for a ride....As for which stable to go to...whatever one is best for your horse. (saftey, quality of food, cleanliness, ect. distance for you to get there,

If you can ride both ways at your stable I would stay there as most are one of the other.
I also ride both. I jump and do some dressage and also trail ride and rope.

Which do you like the most? If you stay at yours, you can still easily do both.

Let's discuss it and determine how you want to ride, then take it from there.
