Your puppy is so lucky that you want to feed him the very best.
I have been breeding purebred dogs for the past 38 years. Two years ago, I began feeding Canidae. I have tried all the major premium brands of kibble, but since feeding Canidae, I would never want to feed anything else. My old dogs became younger, my pups grew better than ever, and the in between are robust with good health. My dog's teeth don't need cleaned, and they have Sweet breath.
Take a look at the ALL HUMAN GRADE ingredients, and notice on the link below, that ALL users have been happy with it.

Canidae may cost more per bag, but is a savings per monthly cost, as my large dogs eat less and waste(poop) less.
It is available in most good pet supply shops.

You can feed her boiled rice. Rice is a common ingredient in many dog foods as it is the easiest form of carbohydrates for dogs to digest. Maybe call the breeder for advice. THey might have some suggestions. It could very well be stress, its a common source of diarreah in pups. Also, has the dog had its vaccinations and has been dewormed. If not, then it could be a parasite or something. You could always call a vet and ask their opinion. In a dog that young, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to take the dog to vet. If the puppy is easting and playing normally it could be just stress, but if the dog seems sick definately get it to a vet. Our dog had the runs for 3 weeks before getting on a special diet and a course of antibiotics for two tummy bugs when he was about 4 months old. If he had seemed sick then we would have immediately had certain tests done. Our vet was extremely busy during this period though cuz the university vet clinic closed due a strike so the vet was taking on more emergencies. We ended up ahving to get a culture and sesitivity test done on his stool. But I doubt your dog has a tummy bug (but hard to say for sure). Your best bet, call a vet to ask their opinion. Feed it boiled rice and give it water. you may have to put the water in a small cup and hold it up to the dog's mouth. The boiled rice is a bland diet (which is reccomended when dogs have diarrhea) and is a good option. Sometimes a bland diet is just needed for a few days.

First, your breeder should have told you what they have had the puppy on. It would be best for the pup to continue on that until you begin shifting him/her to adult food.
However, it is a basic fact of canine nutrition that puppies need a very high quality food. It is best for larger breed puppies to grow slowly, giving their joints time to adjust and grow properly.
You will have to increase the volume of your dog's food as he grows. A 9 week old puppy may eat four times a day and then will start to reject portions or all of a meal (probably by the time he is 3 or 4 months old). That is when you should cut down to two or three meals per day, equal in volume to the amount fed in three meals. As he grows older, you may have to make his meals larger or smaller, depending upon his condition. Once the dog turns a year old, switch to feeding adult food either once or twice a day. Let your dog tell you what they want.
Dobermans are usually avid eaters and will overstuff if you are not careful, so do not free feed your dog by keeping his dish full all the time. For dogs that seem perpetually hungry, two meals a day is much more satisfying. It also reduces the risk of bloat or torsion. It helps the dog feel full and reduces the risk of excessive chewing and other forms of destruction.
Watch your dog's weight and feed him accordingly. Keep to a relatively loose schedule or your dog will expect to be fed at a certain time each day and will begin to demand the same.

if its a runt or just really small doberman and cant chew hard food then mix water with hard food and let it soften then feed him that or get canned puppy food which should be of higher quality. and if that doesnt work call a pet store or a vet to find out what you could give it.

Puppy chow softened with a little warm water or mothers milk replacer. Don't leave it out at room temp. too long as it can spoil. Just make a little and then offer some more in a couple of hours.

He is weaned so he can have hard food right now. I recommend a large breed puppy formula because they grow so fast and they need the extra nutrients in these. Try Diamond brand large breed puppy it is reasonably priced and i have had excellent luck with it. My one pup was malnourished and on the brink of death when I found her and now she weighs 145 and works all day for me with no bone or respiratory problems.
