hahaha. like a dog ? man they are all animals and dogs and cats arent that different. just think what would you do to make a dog stop doing that - yell at it, ignore it, etc.
Same thing with cats. good luck

My cat is the same way so I start buying her cat food with chicken and fish in them and mix it up with her dry food and It have worked alot. Also when she does really good and behave I give her these cat treats called pit'r pat and ever since I tried this method she haven't been begging as much. It takes time but continue to be stern wth your cat and eventually he will get tired and stop. Also it could be someone possibly gave her some table food before and you didn't know about it and she making it a habit that she can get table food everytime you eat.

Stop eating. That's the only way to stop them from begging. Either that or put them in another room when you eat. My dogs do the same thing. I've never heard of a cat doing it though.

You are what you eat and so is your cat.. You are actually doing more harm to your cat by feeding her off the table... She needs "taurine" in her diet, that's why you feed her only cat food which is especially made with it. Regular human foods will not meet her dietary needs.

Yeah once you start a habit with cats its hard to break. I used to give my cat a can of moist food everyday as a treat . but then her littler box became out of this world stinky so I had to get her used to not eating it everyday. I would but her food out but she would sit at the pantry and meow for her soft food lol. It took about 2 or 3 weeks of meowing at me and me telling her" You're fine..you have food"(not that she understood me lol) that she caught on that she wasn't getting it anymore. So you ll have to cut her off from eating with you but just be consistent about it, don't give in. Because once you give in, you ll have to break her from it all over again. Be patient, and give it some time. I know it can annoying but you can do it, gl!

No need to be mean to her, especially since "you created the monster"! Whats it really hurt, anyways, cats like to be with their family, they are very social.

You have taught her to eat when you do, so try feeding her at that time.

1) QUIT FEEDING HER FROM THE TABLE!!!

2) After you no longer have fed her for a week or so, clap your hands and loudly say NO! when she begs.
