I'm working on training my dog to stay in his own yard. As long as he is supervised and not vicious, does he need to be on a leash outside with me, when we are just in my yard?

I HATE it when unconfined/uncontrolled dogs come charging out at us when we are out for walks. Even if yours is friendly, you have no idea if mine are. I do carry pepper spray and any dog who will not back off will get it, it is my responsability to protect my dogs, not to help train yours.

Please keep your dog on lead for my safety as well as your dogs!

It is best to put him on a leash for a walk.
