I recently upgraded my system from Windows 2000 to Windows XP Pro, and my version of PowerDVD, v3.0, won’t work properly. I can get sound, but no video. Is that PDVD version obsolete, or can something be tweaked to make it work? And does anyone know where to get the latest version of PowerDVD?

I think it is obsolete. But here (http://www.cyberlink.com/multi/products/main_1_ENU.html) you can get the newest version of Power DVD (7.0).

Well...its at version 7 now. Typically when you buy a new dvd rom a disk with a version of at least 5.0 or better comes included.

http://www.cyberlink.com/ is the homepage for PowerDVD

Legal? Purchase it at their site.
Illegal? Download it from imesh, limewire or kazaa.
(Remember that we dont want any illegal (person or thing) on the USA)
