He calls me on the phone every single nite to tell me good nite from work. He takes me everywhere with him, like family reunions, birthday parties, on vacation. We sleep together everytime we have a day off together. He treats my kids like they are his own. He took me out to eat on mothers day to celebrate. He would give me anything I ask for. I am so confused. What does he want from me? Should I bail out or just hang in there and hope for the best? He is in his 50's and I am in my 40's. Its not like we are youngsters who don't know what life is about.

So this is probably nothing comign from a 14 year old but maybe he's scared. Maybe you could say it first and if you don't want to do that just straight out ask him if he loves you. Then after that decide if you want to move on or not.

If it's important to you (it's obvious that it is) that he say the words, either ask him THE question, learn to live without them, or--you know the rest of the story.

One suggestion, read the book, "He's not that into you" and if it fits the bill... well, there's your answer
