There's only one thing a 22 year old would want out of a 13 year old girl. You probably hate being told he's told old for you - but the fact is that he is. If you were 20 and he was 29 it wouldn't be bad - but you're still a little girl and he's a man - so you two are in totally different parts of life right now. I'd say reconsider using the word love.

Hey NO!!!!!! I don't not...you shouldn't be with anyone at the age of 13 really...not serious relationship anyways. So NO NO NO NO...You need to move on. YOu need to leave the gus alone and get your head stuck in the books at school and get half way though school and then start thinking about guys. Plus he is 22 i am sure he is very experinsed at you know...he could be telling you all the stuff he is to make you fall for him and then he is going to get some from you and next thing you know you are going to be a single mom...b/c once he gets it he will be done with you and not care for your child.

Love is a confusing thing, especially at the age of 13. When I was 13 I thought that I was in love with a certain boy but with age I have learned that I wasn't in love. I didn't actually fall in love for real until I was 19. I had a few boyfriends before that and thought I was in love but I wasn't. And like others have mentioned, you could get this guy in a lot of legal trouble and he knows that. If he is with you than he isn't such a smart guy!

ok here goes when i was thirteen i fell in love with a ninteen year old,i got pregnant and married at 13 and a half ,had the baby one month before my 14 th birthday i stayed in that relationship until i couldnt anymore to this day i wish to god i would have just waited for a little while but girls love taking care of babies and being loved by a older role model the attention and love that you think is love at the time feels so great.but now im 30 and have three children boy its hard and i sure miss my years i never got to live think about it whats the rush if its worth it itll be there when your ready

Uh, YES, he is too old for you. At 13, YOU hardly know what love is and have no business being in a relationship at all, let alone with a 22 year old. You are headed down the wrong path......I hope you are using birth control. Babies having babies is out of control in the USA!!!!

When I was 14 I dated someone that was 22, which is nearly identical to the situation that you find yourself in right now.
What I can tell you, being 22 right now, is that this man doesn't really love you. You might think that you love him, but at 13 we commonly mistake feelings of lust for love.
He should be responsible for his actions - why is he dating someone that much younger than himself? You need to think about why he might be doing this.
Also. This relationship - if it becomes sexual (or already is) - is ILLEGAL. Think about that, and what your parents could do if they were to find out.

besides the "he is way to old for you", you still have alot of your life to live and find that perfect match for you... you are still young and have alot of things to experience in life... but be realistic with yourself on one question.. why would a 22 year old really want to date a 13 year old... why is he not with someone who is closer to his age? but most of important, if a 22 year old is hanging out with a 13 year old, in my eyes, this guy is a loser.. and what I mean by that is he prob has not graduated high school, has a poor paying job if he has one, so honestly, it sounds like you can just do better..

I don't doubt that you love him, but you should really think about why a 22 year old man would want to be with a girl as young as yourself. He is probably drawn to you because you are so young, and, no offense, less mature than a woman his own age, so you can easily be manipulated according to HIS wants. Think about it before you get hurt.

the simple answer is NO.to be quite honest 9 years is a massive age gap when your only 13.Why not date guys your own age and have fun with your own friends that are your own age.remember you will only ever be 13 once so enjoy doing regular 13 year old activities.Don't grow up before your time.
