I used to be really shy, like to the point of it affected my day to day activities. But then I met the man who was to be my husband and he told me that I was beautiful, that not everybody was out to get me, and that my social-aversion made me look alot younger than I actually was. So thats when I decided to try to be more out there and open. Now i'm still a little shy when it comes to meeting new people, but everything else is so much better.

Being shy can and does come in all shapes and sizes. Rangeing from moderately embarrassed when you do something clumsy to becomming completely paralysed and unable to speak or move.

perhaps you have an anxiety problem,,actually some people tend to hold there breath a little the diaphragm will cause a pooling of blood to brain and vital organs ,, it is a survival mode reaction ,, try not to hold your breath , when some one embraces you just breathe , you may not even know that your doing it but now you know ,, don"t hold your breath.
