Running. It's both a good cardio workout and will tone your body up. If you lose weight, but aren't toned, you may not like the results as much. More muscle also equals a faster metabolism which will help in your goal to lose a few pounds. Hope I could help!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

You need to burn 500 calories a day for one week to lose 1 pound. Any cardio will do, and all you have to do is keep your heart rate up for 30 minutes each day. You can do this twice for 15 minutes, all at once, or 3 times for 10 minutes. And of course, cut your calorie intake to about 1000-1200 calories per day.

If you have a treadmill, get on it and start off by walking , go into a light jog, and then a sprint. Alternate this and go about 2 miles per day. If you don't have a treadmill, do it on the road. Lay off the carbs and starches and you should be able to lose quite a bit of weight fast. Remember to stretch before and after your runs!

Aerobics, stationary bike, brisk walking, jogging, swimming, tae bo, kickboxing, dancing, anything that will make you move for a MINIMUM of 30 minutes with no break! Your body burns fat for fuel and you lose weight when you are moving and sweating as you go, 4-6 days a week. Dvd's are available online, or clubs near you will have these classes and equipment, make it a fun thing!

My favorite workout that I have ever done is bellydancing. It works so many muscles and is hi cardio. There are many classes and you can also get a lot of videos at any book/video store. It is a lot of fun.

Walking daily for at least a half hour is the only way I know I can lose weight, but you might be different.

its amazing how so many people are misinformed. you excercise for 30 min IF your looking to maintain your weight and 60 min. if you want to LOSE weight. fat burning will only occur if your heart rate is in the target zone which you can figure out from any online calculator.
