Why can't I buy the Family Guy movie in the UK?

I would buy a Canadian version, but I read that it might not work in UK DVD players...which is weird because I didn't know they were any different?? I thought that all ended with VHS, etc. I really want to show my friends the movie over here! So funny!!!

you can. it's been out for months. check sites like play.com or HMV. they should be available there.
