I HEAR CHEERS FOR THE RIGHTEOUS!!! not only did you do the right thing, you preserved your dignity and saved a friend and your boyfriend a lot of emotional pain, a big pat on the back for you, your friend and boyfriend are fortunate to have someone as true to them as they are to you!!! your guilt is misplaced, and you bumped your reputation from good to excellent, love and trust go hand in hand , you have shown that you are a good and decent person and you have acted honorably!! keep up the good work!!!!

You can't feel guilty every time somebody asks you out just because you don't want to go out with them. You did the right thing. He's your best friends ex, PLUS you have a current boyfriend. That makes for a "bad scene" all the way around!

You made the right choice. First you have a boyfriend who you should stay with unless there is unfixable problems. Plus, how would your best friend feel if you went out with her ex. You may want to talk to her before doing anything with her ex.

Not sure why you feel guilty, you did the right thing. BF are only for a short period, don't ruin your friendship with her, just to date her ex. It sounds like you are a good friend.

Well it all depend on how u told him. If u were nice about it and told him why u can't go out with him because u have a boyfriend then u shouldn't feel bad it, if things were meant to happen it will happen later on in the future just let him know that.

I have a question for you....why do you feel guilty? Do you feel badly for the guy? Maybe that's what you mean....you feel bad for the guy. Either that, or you have the hots for the guy and feel torn about going out with him or staying with your boyfriend.
