The six-digit number is 284396.
ADDED:
No calculator here...how cynical. It's not that difficult. Call the 6 digits A, B, C, D, E, and F.
You are told:
2A = C
4A = B
A + C = F
2D = F
3D = E
A + B + C + D + E + F = 32
So
B + (A + C) + D + E + F = 32
B + 2D + D + 3D + 2D = 32
B + 8D = 32
So the possibilities are:
D = 1, where B would be 24, no good
D = 2, where B would be 16, no good
D = 3, where B would be 8, possible
D = 4, where B would be 0, no good.
So F=3, D=8, and the rest can be worked out.
