While Paul spokest much of chastity and purity for religious men, I spoke nothing of it. Could it be possible that I was in love with Mary Magdelene, even though there is little evidence to support this? Why be sure eitehr way, and simply accept that you will not know thy truth untill thee accend to my Father's kingdom?

May the mercy of God, and love of his infinite patience be upon you. Amen.

Entertaining, but historically questionable.

Although Dan Brown claims on paper it is fiction, he wrote and believes it as fact. On the Today show, when asked if he would have written a non-fiction book, and if it would have been any different, he said no. This means he believes it to be true.

Which is quite odd. Dan Brown's book is full of errors. He has made items up, and references them like they are history, when nowhere in history have these items ever been known. Brown contradicts himself countless times in his book, and distorts facts so much, most of the book is rubbish.

There is NO evidence to support Jesus and Mary getting together.
Brown's main item is the painting of the Lord's Supper. He treats it like a photograph, of the actual event. All it is is DaVinci's interpretation of what the event may have looked like. His cheif object is the person on Jesus' right is Mary. When in fact, it was a young (About 13) apostle. But even at that, it is just an artists rendering, and has no significance whatsoever in the actual history of the event.

I think it was a good movie and an even better book. As for the ideas presented in The DaVinci Code, it's plausible that Jesus was married to Mary Magdelene and I don't see how that possibility could shake the Christian faith so much. Jesus was supposed to be the son of God. Couldn't he have been meant to carry on through marriage and a child?

just like the INDIAN mythologies were made up over noraml people; I feel Jesus christ was a person, a normal person, may be better than Mother theresa. he had a good life. he helped others. So, peaople wanted his fame to last forever. His small give aways were registered. He did have a family((Cumon people. There is nothing wrong. Jerks with a hard heart even get to have one)). As normal as it goes, time has its own efect over the life history of jesus, Which are obvioussly rumors of what that is being in exsitense right now. He is a preceder of god, His son, the holy one, he made miracles((even the magician next door brings fishes from thin air!!)) this happens in the 21st century and why not in the first??????????

The daVinci code is a funny piece of fiction based on absolutely nothing. The Bible gave answers on so many other things that confront our daily lives and told so much about the figures in the Bible....if Jesus had been in love, married and had children...why doesn't the Bible give even one mention of it? With so many other bad things happening to Bible characters, why leave that out? If that was what actually happened, it makes no sense not to have included that in the accounts of all the other things that happened. Neither of the writers who actually knew Jesus said anything at all about the things that happened in the movie. So, the movie is just what it says it is.....FICTION!!!

Da Vinci is written to be a fiction, Mr Brown is allowed to put any fake facts as true or make lies become real in his little world of imagination. It's actually surprising to see that his novel bears such a controversy, while it is clearly a fiction, not a fact book or anything.

(and what is the reason people says some biblical facts is true or not? Mostly is based on Bible, but we all know that there is almost no proof wether Bible is trustable, nor could we proof that it is untrustable.)

it makes me think....in a way i never thought before!

Well, back in your day my man, it wasn't uncommon for a guy like you to be married and get it on with girls, u know? Actually, it was considered 'odd' that a man wasnt married. So yeah, it is possible you have descendants living today and that the Catholic Church is trynna cover it up! Anything's possible, once again a guy wrote the bible so he could've written it in his way and what he wanted people to believe.

What makes the Da Vinci Code any different from the Bible? They're both books and both can be considered fiction or nonfiction.

First of all it is a FICTIONAL book.

And the book told a pretty good story, but the movie...
It sucked, defiantly Tom Hanks worst movie ever!

It was too long, too boring, and didn't show any good points.
At least the book had some structure to it.
