my husband and i want to take off on a little trip this weekend. we can leave home @ 9am friday morning, and have to be home @ 8-9am monday morning at the latest (we both work nights and we'll have to work mon nite). we live in NW georgia, and will be driving wherever we go. where would you go? what would you do?

to the beach for a romantic getaway, have a picnic, go dancing under the stars

What about going to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg TN... Nice weekend getaway in the mountains. Go before the fall comes and the leave start the change,, that is the busiest time of year there.

How about Asheville NC? It should be beautiful there this time of year.
Nashville or Savannah would be other places that might be fun (if you like cities).
