I need new headlamp assemblies for a 99 Durango. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with aftermarket replacement. I usually stick to OEM, but i hate the stock lights.

In my experience, the quality is not as good. The aftermarket ones are usually built in Taiwan, and "you get what you pay for". I put one in a Cavalier I rebuilt, and it literally vibrated going down the road. Made me dizzy with the light "fluttering". I ended up making a brace to hold the assembly hold steady. Anyways, check your local salvage yards, you may find one for about 1/2 the cost of new. HTH!!

aftermarket is usually better than stock, as long as it's oem specs and they are usually cheaper. stay away from apc. go on ebay and get them. i did and i love them.
