Ok, I wash my hair everyday at night..but in the morning it looks greasy at the tops. Why?? It's not that I don't wash it well..because I scrub it and I even wash it twice. Could it be the shampoo? I use Garnier but this also happened with Suave. What should I do?
And washing it in the mornings wouldn't help because I leave for school at about 6:30 am.

Thanks in advance!
=^)

If you have a large amount of hair it could quite possibly be that you are not rinsing thoroughly. Many of my clients have had this problem, and it usually is due to not rinsing out the shampoo and/or the conditioner completely. Also, when using conditioner, always apply the conditioner to the ends of the hair and work your way up to the top of the head and scalp leaving the least amount of conditioner for the top of your head and scalp area. When rinsing the conditioner make sure to thoroughly rinse the top of the head first and then the rest of the hair can follow. It is OK to leave a little conditioner in the ends of the hair or only lightly rinse the ends, it is more important to thoroughly rinse the scalp of conditioner due to the chances of excessive product build up which in turn can cause oily hair and scalp. When it comes to the proper products one should use on their hair, it all depends on your hair and scalp type. Many people start using the wrong hair products due to self diagnosis of their hair type. Here are a few good tips to discovering your hair and scalp type.
1. Naturally Curly hair tends to be naturally dry. Curl needs moisture. So go with shampoos and conditioners that promote moisture. If you are curly and perhaps oily at the scalp still use products in which promote moisture just rinse thoroughly at the scalp and only lightly condition at the scalp. 2. Straight Fine hair tends to be the oily types. A good question to ask when trying to learn what type of shampoo to use is, "what is your hair like when it is dirty?" If it is oily and limp and lifeless then you need a product that promotes volume and balancing. If your hair gets frizzy and unmanagable then you need a product that promotes moisture. These are just a few basic tips, to get a more personalized regimen I suggest seeing your stylist and asking what they suggest since they know your hair. If you don't have a stylist in which you see on a regular basis, then try the suggestions above and remember rinse, rinse, rinse... Good Luck.

dont use conditioner.only at the tip of your haif if you must.i know bumble and bumble makes a powder shampoo.its basically powder (colored,to match your hair color) and you rub it in your hair and dont reinse i know it absorbs oil so you should check out their website.i believe its Http://www.bumbleandbumble.com if not google it.but yah follow my advice and u should be fine,i used to have the same problem.ohhh and heres some more advice.dont brush your hair a lot, cause that releases oil and stuff.so a good solution would be to braid it so it does not tangle in the day time or wear a bun.ummm and also ,if using only shampoo does not work try shampooing every other day.that should do it.as i said use conditioner on the tips of your hair only.alright good luck!

You may have too many hair products built up in your hair, weighing it down and making it look greasy, when it is not really grease. There are clarifying shampoos and products to reduce that build up and make your hair more bouncy and light, you can use them to improve the heavy build up of hair products.

when you wash your hair often it creates more grease, so cut down a bit...also the way to know when theres no more grease in your hair while shampooing is simple, if theres a lot of foam then your grease free, and you don't need another round, if not then its because you still have some grease or hair product (besides the shampoo...) in your hair.

It's just your hair type. I've heard combing a little bit of baby powder at the roots and through your hair helps, because it absorbs the oil and keeps it smelling okay too. Just be sure not to use too much, or else it will get everywhere.

Try a shampoo specially for greasy hair. Also try a little less conditioner if you're using any.

If you are really concern then you should wake up earlier to wash your hair because thats the only way to get rid of the grease.

Don't wash your hair every day. Overwashing strips hair's natural oils, and so even more is pumped out to compensate. Every other day is enough. On off days, just spritz a little water in it and dry quickly, to refresh your style.

Do you apply conditioner to your hair? My hair is oily so conditioners don't help it they only weigh it down and make it greasy. Try a non greasy conditioner like Aussie.

it sounds gross, but you shouldnt wash it every day. every other day is good. and if it starts looking too oily, you can put i tiny bit of baby power on a brush and brush it on, it will help absorbe some of the oil (just dont use too much or it will look like you have horible dandriff)
