way too much...i have thick coarse stubborn hair and it's half way down my back it would have cost me over $600.00 bucks. i thought i'd try the boxed straightner avail. at wal mart. it was some kind of of african brand extra strength, and i got my best friend to do it and it did the job, my hair still had a little wave to it just very natural looking and it has lasted me for almost 6months now. granted the roots have grown in but the difference isn't drastic. and if i want it poker straight it takes me maybe 15mins with a hair straightner, but note...don't leave the product on make SURE you wash it all out otherwise you will lose your hair. (follow directions exactly)

Depends on where you are going/where you live, but I would imagine that it would be $100 -200 dollars or more. It also probably is affected by the condition of your hair and how long it is.

It costs between $150 and $175, and lasts until new growth comes in.

The question really is why is your hair so stressed out? Maybe it needs a vacation from you.
