No, I've had no luck with the sun, even though I have seen marked improvement in the summertime. However, I have had more luck with yogurt as a homeopathic treatment (I have mine in my scalp) than any of the other meds that I have been prescribed. I usually spread the yogurt mix over my head, put plastic over it and then put tinfoil over my head, leave it on for twenty minutes and wash my hair two or three times to get the yogurt out. Messy and a bit smelly , it works like a charm, and was recommended to my by my dermatologist. Hope this helps.

My psoriasis tends to go away in the summer if I'm out in the sun alot. I also had PUVA treatments for about 3 years at the doctor's office, which is a tanning treatment. Worked great for me.

I got that guttate kind before after strep throat and it went away after a visit to the tanning salon. I am a guy and I thought it would be embarrasing to go but it was pretty cool. But yea I think it slows down the cells proliferation. I used some mediaction like coal tar and anti-dandruff shampoo which seem to make it worse. Try out the sun or tanning salon.
