because its not something you hear every day. It sounds so... i dunno...royal compared to American English. when ever i her a girl with a British accent i just stop and listen, its soothing. It so much more intelligent and I'mportant sounding than the hick accents im surrounded by (not that i hate hick accents, they're cool too).

because we americans don't hear a good British accent very often.
Also, not EVERY English accent is pleasing to the ear, some are very hard to understand. Just like some accents from various parts of the US are not pleasent

I am not american but I like it because it is different like mine I have british family and the weirdest thing is my cousin does not say his T like in water he says waer. What can i say I get the same comment and americans still do not understand they have accents too.

It is something that us Americans are not used to hearing. It is rather new to most of us. To some of us, it even sounds like "fancy" talk, or when some is trying to speak in a fancy matter.

jsut ask an american to say Bond, James Bond, then ask an Englishman from the UK to say it! Does it not sound better in Uk english than an american english?
