I reckon it was called simply "Nutty"... did it come in an Orangey-Brown crinkly see-through wrapper? British, from the 70's/early80's? a piece of fudge type stuff rolled in Peanuts?

Since you used the word 'choccy' which if not an ordinary American word, I assume you might be from England or other European Country. If that's the case, are you referring to a candy bar made there? If choccy doesn't mean chocolate, then I would have to say Payday.

It sounds like "Nutty" bar
if it was in a brown see threw wrapper and I think the nutty was written in orange.
