This is an in the box set. Still new I was transferred home to Ca. The adapter I sent away for makes it work, but no sound, does anyone know what to do Or does anyone want to buy it? It is beautiful & if you know what I mean, & can get it to work fully on 110 you would have a top of the line set. Please contact me at prheat60@yahoo.com

You need a converter box that is capable of changing NTSC (US TV Signal to PAL (German). I assume you now have a 220V to110V converter only.
I did a web search and came up with these sites:
http://www.threedoubleyou.com/converters2.htm
http://www.tvone.com/standards.shtml
I suggest you contact them with detailed info about your TV before ordering to make sure their products will work.

I would have expected the voltage the smaller problem since you obviously can get adaptors for that. What would worry me is that the TV signal that comes "out of the wall" are quite different in Germany and the US.
Good luck, though

If its German, it wont work in the US. Europe and the US have two completely different formats for TV. Even with a voltage adapter, you couldnt watch anything.
