1100 to 1500 new

if its previously owned, ive seen some as low as 700

you may want to reconsider though, depending on what you want it for, wicked recoil. You may want to consider a lower cal, but if i can handle it, im sure you can

I have fired the Desert Eagle in several calibers.
The .50 cal AE or Action express is one helluva cartridge.
To each his own, but after firing it I suspect that it is too much weapon for the average shooter. The cost , no matter how high, is relative to how badly you want it. However, once you discover the prodigious recoil and the limited scope of application I suspect you might regret the purchase. I shoot competitively and run thousands of rounds down range every year.

I'd suggest trying something other than this unless you are totally hung up on buying it. Then the cost is relative to your budget.
If you don't reload yet, buying this pistol will insure that you will or that you will have to have some very deep pockets. The ammo is expensive.

I bought a Desert Eagle just after the came out and paid around $1300 and sold it a month later for $1500
The price has come down since then.
Last year I sold my.44 Desert Eagle for $750

~To determine this, one would tally up the total charged and/or paid, then divide by the number of items in the sample.
