twinklecomfort how do you profess to know what we feel? you know we both "know" that we are right. your answer proves that you are arrogant, stupid, unobservant, and ignorant all at once.

Lets see... The theory of evolution was formed in an attempt to make sense of existing evidence. The theory of God was formed because a some nut job 6000 years ago wrote books about his imaginary friend. The only evidence that this imaginary friend is real? A book that says he is.

Evolutionists can be blamed directly for 0% of the wars in human history. God has been the cause of more wars than any other reason in human history.

Evolutionists do not engage in genocide. Gods minions have taken credit for genocide several times in their own "holy" book, and made failed attempts at wiping out other races several times in the last 2000 years.

You will not find an Evolutionist document that states that the Theory of Evolution told people to go out and kidnap women and children to rape, enslave people, torture, discriminate against, or hate their fellow man for not believing in Evolution. However, you WILL find that God endorses these activities in the Holy Bible, the Torah, and the Q'uran.

Overall, even if the Theory of Evolution is flawed, it is not blatantly evil like Moses imaginary friend. To it's credit, the Theory of Evolution is malleable and actively attempts to perfect itself. The Theory of the Imaginary Friend states that the imaginary friend is already perfect, but fails to reconcile the concepts and ideas that are blatantly, and verifiably false within it's own doctrine.

Hope! Rebellion! I don't know who you consider "god". For me God is belief and faith in the Holy Trinity - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit - Jesus Christ!
Those who don't believe just hope that they are right - God (Jesus Christ) gave us "freewill" - also we have a "sin nature."
The statement that does it best in the Bible for me is; "no one will come to Me (Jesus Christ) unless prompted by the Holy Spirit of God (Jesus Christ)."
Since I'm not the Holy Spirit - I don't let it bother me what I hear, what people say - because I am only responsible for my soul.
I always believed in God, the Creator, - but I did not know the correct path - so I just stopped by others - I was never committed - but I would ask in my prayers - "God that made everything that I can see, all that I can't, from the very beginning, to the very end would you come into my life." He did and I visited a church once during my young adult years - my answer came because I searched - I asked this question as a child - very young. I'm so glad that I found the answer - the answer for me - I allow the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ to do the prompting for everyone else - I know that everyone who is suppose to be with Jesus Christ will.

Oh but it dose my brother, or sister, as the case may be.

It is just a theory after all. And a realistic one at that. Except the part about man evolving any way.

All science comes from God. Thus, All science is good. It is mans mucking about with it that causes all the bad results of the mis use of God given science.

For more on my pov on the general subject you can read my evolution page from my websit at:

It makes sense to anyone with the intelligence enough to understand it.
What about the Science of Evolution or Biology confuses you? Post the question and I'll answer. I'll also use really small words so you don't get too confused.

And the world just popping into existence does???? Come on, let's face it: Evolution AND the Creation Theory both suck. Someone come up with something new!!!! right now, I am somewhere between the two of these theories... but they don't satisfy logic in any way, either of them. Period.

I believe in evolution, just look at the development of butterflies. They start off as caterpillars and then evolve to butterflies.

I'm not sure what to believe in before evolution though. I don't really know what to believe as far as the very beginning.

Just because you don't beleive or understand something is not a reason for you to be disrespectful of people that do. If you are truly comfortable in your faith then you should be able to "agree to disagree". When you start arguing it is because you are trying to convince yourself, not others.

now that's not very fair.
you want to be able to spread your message then why shouldn't they be able to share theirs? if done so in a civil way everyone can get their message across and no ones feelings get hurt. when you say something like this then you give them the right to say the same back and on goes the vicious circle.

Religion and evolution are not mutually exclusive. Believing in one does not prevent belief in the other--and frankly, many high ranking, well known and respected scientists will tell you they go hand in hand.
