I been on that diet but remember one thing Low carb dont mean you should pile up on the meat and fat. Try low carb with veggie and grain. it helps me I went low carb for 4 months and lost 54 pounds but only 15 pounds when I went all meat and no carbs.
also eat multi vitimins because your body needs them to work normally you will lose all lot of different vitimins because your on a diet. but be carefull not to over do it . work out build some muscles will help burn off Calories when you go off the diet. So that way you remain thin and dont gain the weight back. Good luck to you.

The very low carb diets like Atkins work fast, you may loose 5 pounds a week in the first two weeks. After the duiretic effects wear off they work no faster (and no different) than a regular diet. The more moderate low carb diets like south beach aren't faster than any other diet of comparible calories, though some people will still get a little duiresis in the first week or so.

Don't judge a diet by what it does in 2 weeks. Find one you can live with and that will be the answer to your weight problems. When your weight is off and stays off it won't matter to you how fast it happened but you will never get there if you don't find a plan you can except as your own lifestyle.

I've tried the low carb diet. You can lose weight fairly quickly ( I lost 10 in just 3 weeks).
The problem was that was it. Even though I stayed on the diet I didn't lose any more weight. In fact, some of the weight came back. Needless to say, I didn't stay with it after that.

When I went on Atkins I lost about 4-5 pounds a week but the more I went on and off the less I would lose. I also exercised a lot. If I was to do low carb again though I would do South Beach or Montigue.

hello, I'm 32 years old and I used to weight 240 3 months ago now I'm 210.
I drink NONI from Costco and then I eat 3 times a day and snacks in between a total of 1800 calories per day. ask your doctor how much calories you need to eat to loose the weight you want to loose and then discipline your self and be patient a little exercises will help.( walk or bike) remember discipline.

Become a vegetarian instead. You'll get more nutrients that your cells need, and you'll lose weight faster.
