i just cut my hair short. But I did it in stages though. I had hair way down my back, and cut it just a little bit more each time I went to the hairdresser. Now its short, just below my ears and I love it! It feels great now in the summer when its hot. And I am getting tons of compliments too.
it is just hair right? It will grow back.

If you have a square face, you'll want to play down your strong, angular jaw. Texture, in the form of curls or choppy ends, do this brilliantly. You can also get away with short, spiky cuts & long, sleek styles with layers that start at the jawline & continue downward.
Celebs who share your face shape: Gwyneth Paltrow, Demi Moore, Mandy Moore & Rosario Dawson
Avoid: One-length bobs (especially chin-length) and blunt-cut bangs. These will make your face look even more square.

Cut it about half-way to where you think you want it. If you hate it, you haven't destroyed it and it'll give you a chance to test run a shorter style.
I've had long hair all my life. I cut it drastically once and hated it. Shorter styles take much longer in the morning, and you don't have the option of just pulling it back into a ponytail. You've got to do something with it everyday or it'll look like crap.

Leave it long!! I have very long, straight, blonde hair- almost to my waist but I never cut bangs, just all one length. Your bangs will grow out soon and you will miss your long hair, I cut mine like 6 inches last year and I felt bald!!- Plus I am a size 16 and short hair just didn't look or feel right. Good Luck with your choice!! My hometown is Vegas!!!!

My hair is thick and dark, last summer it was down to my butt, and it was so hot one day i cut all off, all the way up to my chin. It was a cute cut but it took some time to get used to.
If you really want to cut it go for it, as for hairstyles just ask the hairdresser what type of cut they would recommend. And a color change always helps.

Hair that long has definitely become part of who you are at this point, cutting your hair would only be cutting off a part of you! I would move to a cooler climate or just bite the bullet and sweat it out, totally worth it to be envied by short-hair-havers and keep your waist length hair! If you did decide to chop it, you would most likely hate it at first and be depressed because of the dramatic change but i suppose you would get used to it eventually.....

Seriously DO NOT cut off your hair... I had hair down to my waist and I cut it off cause I used to live in Tucson, Arizona (120 degrees) and I now regret it, actually I have been regretting it for a really long time. But if you do decide to cut it off save it and donate it to "Locks for Love", so the people that need the hair are able to make a wig out of it.

My hair wasn't nearly as long as yours, but I cut 10 inches off a while back and donated it to Locks of Luv. If you decide to cut it, 10 or 12 inches really isn't as much as it sounds like,.. it'll still look long if now it's to your waist.

I say cut it!
Not only does it grow back but it can be a freeing experience to let go at times & try something different. Don't be so attached to your hair that you can't try something new!
Short hair can be really sexy - check out Keira Knightley's hair - it looks great.
Have fun - you only live once - femininity & sexiness are not intrinsically connected to your hair!

you may reduce it off as long as you comprehend the guidelines for laundry them. I advise, in reality it really is merely device wash chilly, lay flat to dry for lots of them. Low upward thrust ability the denims take a seat about 3 inches decrease than your abdomen button. once you should pull them up each and every of the time, then it really is really a lot continually low upward thrust!
