I am sorry that your birth mother rejected you. Do not take it personally. She does not know what she is missing. I would try to call her again and try to ask some questions about the dad. Tell her that you are not interested in a relationship with her but you have the right to know who the dad is.
Good Luck!

St Margarets record office (think its in london) hold the records for the entire UK. You can pay a little extra for someone to search for your particular record if you cannot get down there to do it yourself.
If you are in touch with the social workers who placed you you can request your original file - this should have your birth certificate on it.
Also sounds stupid but if you have your birth parents names and an area try friends reunited (it may work).
There is a method (not 100%) sure how but your parents are allowed to leave messages for you to collect when you are 18 with the social workers etc to say that they want you to contact them and they are waiting for you - I only know this as my stepmum helped bring in this bill as it only used to be allowed for the adopted person to search and not the birth parents.
Good Luck to you, I hope you do manage to find them.

When you figure this out, please let me know. I was not exactly adopted...more shoved offonto another relative. My mother has always been in the picture but never my real father. All I have is his name and know where he lived at the time. Also have information I believe to be purlely fictional from other family members. If you get helpful answers please forward them to me at s_ransom_2006@yahoo.com
Thanks!
Good luck to you! I'm so sorry things have not turned out well for you thus far and truely hope they improve as you progress with your search. If you need an understanding friend, feel free to e-mail me anytime!

i was adopted and im trying to find my birth mother at the moment i also had a half sister who was given up a year before
me, dont be upset that she dont want a relationship with you somtimes it's because she has never told anyone about you, so now she can't ,no mother would reject you twice without good reason well good reason to her, i hope you had good adoptive parents like i did ,go to a bullitin board and post a message for your dad you might get lucky, he also might not know about you, good luck to you go to nicolayeomans.

If you have his name and birthday you have more information than most do on this quest. You may need to enlist the help of an investigator if its that important to you. Some places have online records like the military and so on.

You might want to try looking him up on the internet. Type in his name in the search bar. If that doesn't work, try adding his birthday. Good Luck!

I can't help you I'm afraid, but good luck to you, and I hope you have the support you need, even if not from your birth family.
