Of course The God is not a man. He is free from all short comings and weaknesses. The myth that He rested on Seventh day is a man made fabrication. Qurna which is the final edition of all divine book and hence the only book on earth which is preserved in its original langauge for last 1420 years and is as fresh and as motivating and as if not more understandable as on day 1, clearly says that the God made the universe in sis days and that slumber and sleep does not occur to the God. He does not eat while He feeds everyone. So fatherhood not in that sense of physical father. The brotherhood is very much in Quran. All the Prophets said to their followers and even non folowers as brothers.

In some contexts, yes.

e.g. There's are difference between being brothers from the same parents and being a spiritual brother...or calling God "Father" and calling Abraham "Father."

Very much so.

John 14:6 "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Luke 11:2 He said to them, "When you pray, say:
" 'Father,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come.
3Give us each day our daily bread.
4Forgive us our sins,
for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.
And lead us not into temptation.' "

Hebrews 2:11Both the one who makes men holy [Jesus] and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers. 12He says,
"I will declare your name to my brothers;
in the presence of the congregation I will sing your praises."
