Stretching and powerade or gatorade. Milk takes longer to go through the system so don't try that.

Bananas...when I was pregnant, I got these awfully painful cramps in the backs of my calf muscles. The only thing that helped with bananas. The cramps are caused by low potassium, which bananas have an abundance of. And the potassium in bananas is quickly absorbed into the body. If you eat a banana once a day or at least every other day, you're likely to never have leg cramps again.

Potassium is what you need. Bananas are a good source. I know they are painful!!! I've had trouble with them especially when I was pregnant. Bananas always kept them away for a while. Potatoes are good for leg cramps also. Good luck!

leg cramps can be treated by taking calcium and electrolytes...which can be obtained from orange juice, banana, coconut water or lime juice etc.
you can also dip your legs in warm [not hot] water for say 1/2 an hour which will improve blood circulation in your legs which in turn reduces leg cramps.
