The funnel cake is tasty with all the sugar on it! The squirts should not just be put on the cake! If you had funnel cake at carnival, what else could you have had?!

If you have been recently eating nutritious and healthier food, the fat/grease in the funnel cake would be very upsetting to your stomach. This happened to us a couple of years back at a local fair. Had a big batch of greasy french fries and felt really sick for about two days until the fat left our system.

Mmmm... deep fried sugar laden batter, with more sugar and maybe some syrup on top.
What's not to like?
Your body probably wasn't ready for the grease and sugar.
