Additional Details are.......I've only taken the Klonopin for say 21 -30 days.... I havent been on this stuff for years... Perhaps a taper of 0.125mg per week might work....

YES!...I'm on Klonopin, but ended up not being able to get my Rx filled for a week one time. I thought it wouldn't be a big deal, after about 4-5 days I had a massive headache. I had to drive 4hrs and i could barely function, dizziness, nausea, headaches...its not worth it...just taper down

Well, 0.5mg is a very small amount to begin with, the smallest dose is 0.25 qd. Why are you taking Klonopin? Klonopin is commonly use to treat anxiety or insomnia. I think it would be best if you consult with your physician, the one who prescribed it.

Yes, as with many drugs, if you're going off it, you do need to taper down because there could be serious (bad) effects to quitting out-right.

Yes you do. I am a clinical social worker and have worked with people who have taken this medication for years. It is very much necessary to slowly reduce the drug in your bloodstream.

Drug tapers are important. It will prevent problems. Always work with your doctor when you are doing these things. Do not do this on your own.
