If it has been kept at the proper temp, it should be okay. The think that the beer companies came up with the "Born On" dates to sell more beer. The distributors have to take bake anything out of date from the retail outlets, so in turn, they sell more beer.

No-water your plants with it-or better yet, use it for beer chicken-dump the beer in a can-a good sized soup or vegatable can will do-fire up your grill, place the can either at the back of the grill, or on the fire itself-depends on your grill-and cook chicken as you'd usually do. The rapidly evaporating beer adds a nice flavor-and you'll use up all your beer refilling the can.

Normally beer past the expiration date should be fine to drink. I feel the expiration date is really a marketing ploy by the beer companies. If the beer really tastes bad, it usually means that it was improperly stored (frozen, heated, cooled, heated and cooled again.) if it tastes bad throw it out. If it is past the expiration and tastes OK to you, drink and enjoy.

Well it hasn't been very long since it "expired", but if the beer tastes foul or old then....Well....I can't tell you to throw it away, something in me rebels at the thought of throwing away alcohol. Give it to a neighbor and hope they don't notice the taste!

Then why are you asking such an incredibly dumb question as to whether to throw them out or not? If it tastes bad, down the drain and recycle the cans. Sheez!

oh hell no, take that nasty skunk beer and let it warm for a week at room temp, then soak a steak or bratworsts in that for an hour! skunk beer is the best marinade you can get!

but if it is refridgerated from day one at the factory, the store and immediately to your fridge, it never goes bad.

First off, no, it's not going to kill your or make you sick from drinking old beer. I'd try to return it to the store you bought it from and tell them they sold you expired stuff. You would do the same thing with milk, right?

If they taste like hell & you can't stand to drink them then ya toss those bad boys out. Beer should last longer than that.

If you are in need of a drink keep it and give it to your friends you do not like so much. If it is for you throw it out!

Beer has expiration dates?
I've never had beer last long enough in my fridge to find out, I guess.
That being said, toss it out. It won't kill you to drink it. It probably won't even make you sick. But life is to short to drink bad beer.
