There are lots of bright, kind, educated Christians out there, but all you seem to see are harsh, narrow minded and poorly educated Christians chiming in on things. Why?

Well, I am a Christian and truly love the Lord. I think alot of times "carnal christians" are what turn people away from have a relationship with the Lord and that frustrates me because Jesus isn't like that...they are misrepresenting them. To answer your question...I think Pride is the reason. Jesus asks for us (Christians) to be humble and meek. When people try to use knowledge to impress (chime in on) others...then we have pride...which isn't like Christ and turns others away. Hope this helps. I also hope people get to know TRUE Christians and get to know the REAL Jesus. He's good.

Well, they're not necessarily narrow-minded and poorly educated simply because you don't agree with them.
I've never heard a person use those two adjectives to describe a person who they agree with. Never.
Without fail, those two adjectives are always used to describe someone with whom a person disagrees.

because the less educated you are the less spirtual and more religious you become.

Some folks, regardless of being Christian or not, often will make up for their lack of _________ (Insert education, fitness, kindness, etc. here.) with whatever they have an abundance of. (Passion, talent, etc.)
It's quite a normal human trait. It's not the best trait, but it is normal.

It's always the uneducated that make the most fuss, from any circle. I honestly believe people with low intelligence are more fertile than others.

This is typical of any zealot. Those who understand the least are the most intolerant and the most vocal. Unfortunately, they get the most attention as well.

70% of the world's population is of average to below average intelligence, educated or not, christian or not. Scary isn't it.

That is because they have nothing intelligent to constribute to the running debate, except for thumping their bibles and belting out "damnation to non-believers"....
