Last night a neighbor came to visit. he was standing on the porch and I saw a vapor rising behind him and went above his shoulders.it reminded me of cold mornings when you breathe and see what looks like smoke. In the Bible man is described as a vapor.God breathe into man the breath of life and man became a living soul, What did I see? The neighbor told me it might have been a spirit.Was it demon or angel?Please support your opinion.

Nothing to fear, it was probably his spirit guide. Yes, you have one too. We all do. They never leave you. I've seen mine manifest into human form and I've seen him in a shadowy form.
Support...well, were you ever stumped with a question and then it suddenly popped into your head out of the blue? That was your guide. Have you ever missed being in an accident by a thought just popping into your head to do something different? That was your guide. Did you ever loose something and look all over the place and then something tells you to look at a certain spot and it's there? That was your guide.
You have a guide that helps you...protects you...and guides you to stay on course with why you came here, what you need to experience, what you came here to learn. You picked him/her before you came here. My guide now was my best friend in my last life.
It could have been an angel but you can't see them if they don't want you to see them. There's no such thing as a demon. There's lower dimensional beings that are quite negative...but they are different than what we call and think are demons. And they don't hang around you trying to 'steal your soul'. That in itself is a fairy tale.

You don't mention if the neighbor felt threaten or acted differently during the encounter. My gut reaction would be, if this WAS a spirit, it would have been a relative of your neighbor, trying to get his attention for whatever reason.
As it did nothing to hurt you, I suspect the demonic aspect is a no.
Don't automatically assume that any encounter with the supernatural is inspired by evil. The opposite is more often true.

i can only answer your question from a mediumistic point of view not from a religious one and i don't intend to upset or step on any ones beliefs
i am a medium and as such i see spirit in a mental link .. mind to mind as they transfer thought and image to me to pass to their loved ones
vapour isn't a way in which i would explain spirit although there may be many other explanations for it .. heat emitting from somewhere unknown to you ( especially if a cold night ) i could go on
but what i will say is this isn't demons or angels or anything to be scared of in any way .. but most likely a more natural occurrence all be it strange

it might have a spirit, but if the man is good it was a good spirit if he's bad well then it's a demon.

Well, I personally don't think we can "see" spirits or souls, so I'm thinking you saw fog or smoke.
