Wow sell it to me lol. I saw an add yesterday of a lady selling her pitbull for $2500. I live in Glendale so people are crazy around here, and I guess the pitbull has lots of pedigree. I guess you can sell it for $400 if she is pretty and has all the papers. I guess that is a reasonable price since you can buy a regular dog for $500.

We bought ours for $150 and he was 13 months old when we got him. We live in a different area though(way across the country..lol) and it also depends on if you have papers on him or not and how trained he is and what the market value is where you are. I would look in the paper and see the average of what they are being sold for. Because if you have it too cheap or free it might go to a bad home, up the price and only someone who really wants it will spend the money on it.

Unless you have papers on your dog, you probably cannot charge the normal going price for pit bulls in your area. Best thing to do, is post an ad with a re-homing fee of $100, just to make sure that the person interested, is willing to spend money on the dog. Check out the people, make sure they are not involved in dog fighting.....it would be horrible if the wrong person got their hands on your dog.
