Mondays are always horrible...just lie to yourself until you're home and tell yourself its Friday......you can even convince yourself of this by getting smashed Monday night =))

Monday Blues hits almost every working person, unless they love their job so much they almost look forward to it each week. I just find something interesting that I like to do each day, so that the work week does not seem to be so much of a drudgery. I look forward to coming home, tackling a writing project or a graphics page or whatever ... I plan something like this each day of the week and soon enough, the weekend is back.

If you are talking about just a dragging feeling, it may just be that your system needs to "recharge". I was reading a study that said that people who engage in prolonged periods of mental inactivity. (like vegging about the house during long holidays) actually lose neural processing speed to a significant degree. In fact, IQ tests given to individuals before and after such a period show a large differential. (sometimes as high as 25 percent)
If it is a protracted feeling of depression you may try supplementing your diet during a long break with tyrisine and lysine both of which are amino acids that create the important endorphin, seratonin. (your other option is to buy 5-htp-you can get it at GNC for a high price-though I would recommend checking with your doctor first) Hope this helps!

Yes, pull out your favorite comfort food recipe and cook it, then selfishly devour it.
